Members of our club spent May 14th out at McKnight Park showing our appreciation for the players and their families that play in our league. We gave away Kiwanis swag, popcorn, had half priced concessions and gave out prizes for our top cookie dough sellers! Enjoy the pics!!! Thanks to everyone who was involved!
Our Kiwanis club sponsored a fundraiser in conjunctions with the Nashville Predators to benefit Candle Wishes. Proceeds from ticket sales and a silent auction raised around $2300 for the Rutherford County-based charity.
Members of the Stones River-Oaklands Kiwanis will be signing up girls for our spring softball league every Saturday in February from 10-2 at Central Middle School. For more information about our ball program visit, http://www.srksoftball.com
Our members enjoyed our annual regift/”Dirty Santa” party at last week’s meeting… It was nice, it was naughy… and it was down right dirty at times! See the photos to follow the flow of events! We had some great items this year that quickly hit their three steal limit!
At yesterday’s meeting, Blackman Builders Club members prepared for the blood drive which they are helping with Monday at their school. The kids also wrote Christmas cards to wounded soldiers and enjoyed some holiday snacks! It was also “Hat Day”, which was a school-wide fundraiser the club did to raise money for Heavenly Hats.
Our club hosted our annual Holloway Harbor Christmas Party today. With 10 babies in the childcare center, we provided food, gifts, diapers and a donation to the program which we have supported for decades. Enjoy the photos!
